About the program

The work, up close.

The 100 Summer Academy is one of the longest-running programs in the chapter's portfolio—a six-week experience that combines academic enrichment with the social and emotional development young students need.

Sessions are taught by educators and mentors who know that summer is when learning gaps either widen or close. Academy students leave each summer with stronger reading and math skills, broader exposure, and a sense of community they'll carry into the school year.

For many families, the Academy is the first introduction to The 100—the start of a relationship that often spans the entire arc of a child's education.
